Concentra, a NASDAQ quoted US-based international software company needed to accelerate its position as the leading design automation software specialist. The company, which was previously technically led, had very little profile with the media and urgently needed to reach potential customers at boardroom level.
Verve, in partnership with Concentra, devised a multi-track worldwide media and business-to-business program including perceptions audits and product launch campaigns. Verve also instigated a multi-disciplinary industry segmented media campaign which included establishing Concentra executives as expert pundits on international TV and radio, and created exposure in international consumer, technical and trade press. Product and marketing strategies were developed to focus attention on Concentra technology at conferences and exhibitions worldwide.
Concentra leapt from being seen as a small IT company to take the role of market leader and opinion former. The general perception of the company, as determined by perceptions audit, was of a far larger company than was the case.
