Verve has handled product launch commissions for products as diverse as Holsten Pils, £multi-million nightclubs and bars, major-production filmed entertainment and new businesses and services. For example:
To launch a £7 million entertainment venue in a Grade II listed building in the heart of Leeds. Verve research discovered the building had been used as a cinema and music venue since its opening by Prince Albert in 1885. It was one of a series of high profile developments by First Leisure Corporation
For 12 weeks before the opening on 19th May 2001 Verve put together a strategic PR plan to gain media attention in the regional and national print and broadcast media. This included press visits, dancers' auditions, employment stories, competitions, releases on high profile PA's (personal appearances of recording artistes) at the club, profile pieces about the manager and a particularly high profile hunt for the history of a silver locket found by Verve in a hidden room below the building.
High profile coverage with local, regional newspapers, television and radio resulted from Verve's campaign. Creation achieved and maintained coverage which has resulted in the turnover of the club exceeding expectations. In addition the campaign resulted in Verve being nominated for the IPR (Institute of Public Relations) Cream Awards, a high profile and much sought-after accolade within the industry.
